Yesterday Mr O’Donoghue was a guest on Clare FM’s Morning Focus. He was interviewed about Logged-On, the EU project our teachers are working on, pioneering the use of new educational technology.

Congratulations and well done to Katie, Rhiannon, Shay and Anthony who travelled to Mary I for the day on 24th of March 2017. The day was run by the ISSU and students representing many Students Councils in the region got together to work on issues of relevance to young people today. They came back with many great ideas and these were shared with senior management.

Thank you to the Student Council for organising a lovely cake sale on fri 7th of April 2017.

A delegation from Ennis Community College is in Italy this week to take part in a meeting of European educators working to develop new methods for the integration of technology in secondary education. Their work will lay the foundation for a major conference on the use of technology in education, to be held in Ennis in October.

Magician Leon Anderson visited our first year students recently, when he conducted a Maths Magic workshop as part of the Junior Certificate Schools Programme.
