Ennis Community College past pupil Kate O'Neill receives an award for success in examinations from the Engineering Technology Teachers AssociationKate O’Neill, who did her Leaving Certificate at Ennis Community College in 2012, was one of a number of students honoured by the Engineering Technology Teachers Association (ETTA) for achieving exceptional standards in state exams. Ms O’Neill is pictured receiving her award from Dr Hugh Henry, Director of Innovation at Bord na Móna and Mr William Rowan, Chairman of ETTA, at the awards ceremony in the Raheen Woods Hotel, Athenry.

Ms O’Neill is a graduate of the Deaf Unit at Ennis Community College.

The Unit for the last couple of years have employed a member of the Deaf community to help out in the Unit. We are proud to say that Adrian Rynne has helped our students greatly and he continues to be a role model for our students. Adrian has been nominated for The Ireland Involved Award.
