Bursaries Presented to Pathways Graduates

Ennis Community College Pathways Scholarship Programme

The first graduates of the Ennis Community College Pathways Programme were awarded a bursary for €500 during a recent ceremony at the school.

The four students who received the bursary were Eoin Cullinan who is studying in NUIG, Yuan Fang Qian studying in UL, Sylwia Kielak studying in LIT and Dympna Moloney studying in Ennis College of Further Education.

The Pathways Programme was introduced to Ennis Community College by Year Head Ms. Yvonne Walsh in September 2012. The Scholarship Programme assists students moving forward through senior cycle into 3rd level education. There are financial and educational benefits to those participating in the Pathways Programme who engage fully in student life and studies and continue to third level education. The four successful students, three from Leaving Certificate and one from Leaving Certificate Applied, receive a bursary towards their college course. We wish to congratulate our successful pathways graduates and our current pathways scholars and wish them all the very best of luck in their future studies.
