Students’ Council

Students are encouraged to take an active leadership role in the college. Most classes (2nd year to 6th year) are represented on the Student Council and they are given the opportunity to represent student’s views, organise activities within the college and to develop their leadership skills. Council meetings are held twice a month at lunchtimes.

News:

  • Student Council training will be provided by the LCETB on 11th Novemeber 2016.
  • Student Council members attended Comhairle na nOg in the West County Hotel on 20th Oct 2016.
  • Student Council elections took place this year in October 2016.
  • David, our Student Council chairperson of last year, represented Ireland at a meeting of international student unions in Iceland in October 2016.
  • A very enjoyable Talent Show was organised by the Student Council in the first term of 2015-2016.
